A beautiful Georgian solid silver small vinaigrette.  It has a leaf floral twist pattern on the outside with a beaded border.  There is a plain rectangular cartouche in the centre which can be engraved with an initial or date.  It has a gilt grille embellished with a pierced scroll floral pattern.

Hallmarked Birmingham 1815.

Dimensions - 2.2cm x 1.5cm x 0.6cm.

Weight - 7.5gms (0.24 troy ounce).

This lovely little vinaigrette is in very good condition.  The grille has had some repair work it looks like. There is age related surface wear and tear on the corners and a very small dent on the cartouche. The hallmark is still clearly readable and it is over 200 years old.
